clown hosting wellso

I just got a new wellso and my clownfish has started to get curious with it and then the next morning I see the clownfish hosted it will this effect my wellso

It kinda depends on the individual coral. If the Clown irritates it enough, it can eventually kill it. I would just keep an eye on it and watch how the coral reacts.

I can’t see the video but the clown is hosting the welso? Are you sure it’s not the other way around?

The coral looks a little more like a trachy than a wellso. Regardless, the clown will cause it stress and if the coral is new to the tank it is more likely to die.

I would recommend you move the coral and wait for the clownfish to take a new host. (If you have a frag tank or other tank. I had a trachy that died due to the stress of a clown. I tried covering the trachy with a clear glass bowl, but I wasn't successful.

well from what i see is the clown is very gentle and actually helping clean off the sand that my goby puts on it
