My clown is staying in one spot and not moving. I just got her, she’s a maroon. Is this a problem? she won’t explore the tank at all. Please help!

Pretty normal with clowns. Mine usually stays in the front corner and sometimes ventures out to explore or to eat.

Is it moving at all or completely lifeless?
Clowns do tend to pick a spot and hover there, making rounds every now and then. It’s a lot more fun to watch when there’s a nem or coral hosting.

you picked a clown that hosts bubble tip anemones.
If your tank is stable, mature enough, and has proper lighting, I recommend getting one. To see a clown interact with it's correct anemone is amazing and never gets old

My clown stays close to her Duncan coral and she is so much fun to watch. Hilarious behaviors once they get comfortable and feel safe.

"Just got her" as in added to your tank today? Is she breathing fast? How did you acclimate? Is she eating?
