So, one of my clowns decided to jump in the overflow, during my waterchange.
He,s got wise to food and net, any suggestions how I can get him out?

Over flow box is 30 inch deep with return pipe on ball valve into a roller filter and an emergency pipe

Can you pull the emergency pipe out so it will flush him down the emergency drain? Put a net in the sump at the base of the emergency pipe.
I've had to do this before.

How big is your overflow? Can you fit a small clear acclimation tub in there? I've had great success tricking my clowns in to swimming in a little jug because it's clear and they can't tell.

That is a good idea, I would just need to think it through. I can disconnect the pipe, do I leave the return pump on or off

It could be done, but I Don,t have a small clear box
