Clown in QT with Road Rash?

So obviously it isn't road rash but it looks like it. Clowns and Gramma were held by a fellow hobbyist for 4 months or so. All eating well and looking great. I was tempted to not QT because they looked great but after reading all of the horror stories I thought I should anyways.

So I am at therapeutic copper levels, using copper power. Have been for a few days now. I did notice the one clown having stringy poop when I brought them home so I did start feeding GC+Selcon + Focus from day one. They are on day 8 of that now. A few days ago I noticed the same clowns upper and lower portion of the face was a little lighter color. Almost like like it ran into the glass. It really has not improved and now it looks little like road rash.

The clown still looks great besides that and has been eating like a pig. Not sure I let it ride or need to do something since it is in copper and copper does not do wonders for the immune system. I have Metro, Prazi and GC on hand.

The clowns are small, I believe Juveniles and they are going at each other a bit. I believe this is to determine who will be male / female. Any advice would be appreciated. I would hate to lose these clowns as they looked great before going into copper.

The rash may be from their sparing lip to lip. If the rash grows, you could consider a 90 minute bath in Ruby Reef Rally. It has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualities. But it would be worth considering obtaining a good wide spectrum antibiotic to keep on hand: Kanaplex, Furan2, Triple Sulfa (Sufaplex), or NFG.

Just an update on this for those wondering. Clowns and Royal Gramma are still in therapeutic copper. That are on day 9. All are still eating great. My second QT tank (copper free) is ready for them at day 14. I have not seen any stringy white poop anymore either. The redness on the one clown is still there but seems to be less and less each day. It must have come from a bit of fighting.
