Clown- larger clear/white patch

Hey everyone! Need help with this little dude here:

May not be easy to see but behind the left fin there is that large(ish) patch on the body... looks like scales are missing. Other side behind right fin appears normal. Not many other symptoms other than spending more time amongst the rocks instead of free swimming as usual; before pics he just finished off a decent portion of brine shrimp (thawed from frozen).

Any ideas on diagnosis and/or treatment options? He’s currently alone in this 20 long. Tank has been seeded with previously used rock and, besides initial setup starter bacteria, I continue to add small amounts of Safe Start daily. Diatoms/algae began showing up a few days ago as I started/increased photo period. CUC arriving Thursday from ReefCleaners.

Easier to see the “patch” under these blues... and man this phone camera does not like taking photos under all blues! Lol tank looks nothing like that in real life!

Looks like you may have a bacterial infection there. Keep a close eye out for redness and or opening wounds. If so, treat immediately. Here's more info on bacterial infections and suggested treatments:

Thank you for that! As the day has gone on the translucence has faded and now the entire abdomen near the ventral fins is a yellow-orange color. Looks like there was never an issue! Is there anyway it’s was just discoloration from lack of lighting?! Now that the day lights have ran for a bit (and food has digested?) he is acting much more spunky too!
