Clown not eating swimming in the same place

hello all. My ocelarus clown hasn’t eaten for a few days and I’m worried. Nothing on him him that looks odd.
Trying to upload video but it’s too long.

Water quality is fine and the saddleback is constantly eating.

What size tank are these two in? How long have you had them? Are they in qt? Need some more information. As much detail as you can get.

Has the clown ever been treated for internal parasites (worms) with meds like Prazipro, General Cure, Metroplex, etc.?

10 gallon. Had them almost a month. Not in qt. Weekly water changes. First few weeks nemo ate and saddleback didn’t. Then saddleback eats and Nemo doesn’t. I feed brine shrimp and the floating pellets.

I didnt' see a whole lot of shimmer, how much surface agitation do you have?

Welcome to R2R by the way! Great place to be.

Have you seen any aggression towards "nemo"? Clowns can be real mean.

Consider trying a fish "smoothie" with your fish. Get several different types of frozen fish cubes: mysis, brine shrimp, cyclops, seaweed, chopped clams, reef mix, etc. Place them in a tupperware or glass container in your fridge to "slump" (thaw). Pour off excess water. Add a couple of drops of vitamins like Selcon or Zoecon, etc. Mix. The mix will stay good in the fridge for several days. Most fish go crazy over the "smoothie" and the variety of cubes used with the vitamins gives them a well rounded diet to help the fish's immune system.

While I'll agree that not eating is worrisome, the way the ocellaris (Nemo) clown is swimming looks pretty normal to me. Choosing a spot and staying close to home is what clowns often do - sometimes they have an anemone in that spot ... sometimes they don't.

If I was a clownfish, I'd _absolutely_ go for some of that "fish smoothie"!

I would wonder how long two different species could get along in that tank. Clowns are crazy territorial and generally do not like each other (same or different species-except pairs). Besides that, I do not see any physical issues with the clown from the video. The swimming seems pretty normal too. I like the smoothie idea!

I feed my fish a huge variety of frozen, dry, and even live (if I decide to do some brine).

Edit: if he is not eating could be intimidation from the other clown. Not outright fighting, just intimidation. I saw a moment in video of this.

5 years later, what happened with your clown, did you figure anything out? My clown is staying in one spot as well and didn't seem to eat when I put pellets in.
