Has anyone ever heard of a clown fish pair that hosts a clam?

I have frog spawns, GSP, hammer corals, an awesome red hadoni, and a sick bubble tip anemone. Yet these stupid things will not leave the mantle of my big ol' maxima clam.

Is this common?

I have seen this in my LFS. The owner told me this really is quite common.

A LFS owner here once told me that a clownfish was hosting his 10"+ maxima and was actually swimming in and out of the byssal opening. I believe he thinks this is what eventually led to the death of the clam.

here's mine got caught by my clam.

Wicked picture.....wicked (literally) clam.

My clowns hosted my large squamosa for years...no problems....the clam was just used to it.

I have 3 that host a clam. The clam does not mind the clowns hosting him,
