I had a clown jump out of tank and i assume my dog ate it, was during a water change and just filled tank and left room for 5 minutes and was gone. My question is can I get another to go with the one that's left even if it's a different kind and maybe a small one , the one left is doing good i have them for 4 months before this happened. And yes I have a tank cover now to prevent this again

Which one jumped? The male or female? The female is the larger one just so you know.

Typically when replacing a clown you want to get a juvenile clown that hasn't yet turned female. Adding a female to a female would result in a clownfish deathmatch. If you have ocellarus (spelling is wrong on that) then you'd want to keep with purcula or ocellarus- ie: dont add a tomato to a maroon or a maroon to a percula ect ect. different color patterns dont matter much.

^Yup, stick with a clown species from the same complex, get either a juvenile or male, assume that yours, regardless of whether it was the male or female has at least begun the transition to female.
