Clown Stuck In Filter Housing

I thought this little dude had died! He's been trapped there for a couple weeks I guess. Scoop net is too big.

So is a ladle, serving spoon, etc.

Any ideas?

Sorry if this doesn't qualify as an emergency but I want my buddy back and his buddy misses him.

Try to sneak a serving spoon in there, gingerly. Put some food on the spoon, and try to scoop him back up into the tank. Make sure the filter is off!

can you bend net to fit ?
2nd would be shut off flow ,pull drain pipe in box ,catch below drain

Dang! I had the same thing happen about 5 years ago, I thought one of my clownfish died for around 2-3 months and then i looked in the filter and he was in there. Hope you get that clown out.

We got him! It took every sized spoon in the drawer but it's done. He immediately matched back up. Made my day. Thanks y'all.
