I've got a pair of clowns in a frag tank with a carpet nem and this morning one of them has white spots on one side of it's body. I don't know if it got stung really bad or it has ich. It also has a few spots by its mouth on its other side. The spots kind of looks like tiny flowy tentacles.

That does not look like Marine Ich, typically it looks almost exactly like grains of salt. My money is on the carpet.

No just let the clown be, you can feed it Melafix or some food soaked in Selcon, but that might not make a difference. What are you trying to feed the carpet? Mine liked raw pieces of scallops or fish, very small pieces initially. Do not feed too often or big pieces initially.

Agree, not ich. You can also soak the food in garlic. I use brightwells garlic drops.

Is there anything i can do for the clown? I've had the nem a week and cannot get it to eat.

What can't you get to eat, the clown or the anemone?

If you are referring to the anemone...

What size tank?
What lights?
What are the current water parameters -- with numbers please.
How long has the tank been set up?
How deep is your sandbed?
Where did you get the anemone? LFS or shipped.
Can you post a full picture of it?

As for the clown, it looks like just a small part of it got stung. While I have heard of clowns being killed by an S. haddonis sting (( judging from that one picture that shows a small part of the anemone, it looks like an S. haddoni )), yours might be okay -- keep a close eye on it.
