I have a Harlequin Clown Sweetlips. Doing very well in my tank and gets along with all other fish, nicely. On occasion, he tends to put his nose into areas he shouldn't and may get the little pinch or sting that sends him off on a rock to rub the pain away.

I see no other issues with parasites or fungus diseases, but did notice this little spot developing on the lip and nose area. Anything to worry about or part of his color and maturation?

I have enclosed a photo for you to look at, thanks.

I'm sorry I'm not very familiar with sweetlips. That could be a sting spot I suppose. If it gets worse then we can talk about treatment methods, but until then I dont see anything to worry about. You can go ahead and suppliment his food with vitamins such as Selcon though.
