Clown tang

Thinking of getting one....I have a 8 ft long 240 gallon...it would be my last tang, its this or a sohal....any tips? Suggestions?

What other tangs do you have? The clown is one on the most aggressive tangs in the hobby, the other one you listed would top it.

With 8 tangs already in there, I wouldn't add another one, I see the balance being upset and WW III starting.

The only fish that I have ever taken back to my lfs was a Clown Tang. Mean as anything, and it followed and harassed some of my other fish. I would never think of buying one again. My Achilles rules the tank now, and I have a Powder Blue that is second in charge. My opinion is the clown tang will cause all sorts of trouble.

i have a clown tang that is hyper aggressive. so much so that he now has his own tank, and everybody is much much happier. this guy is now my wifes fish. they are just alike very beautiful, but mean as hell! ;}

They are pretty much the same fish but ypu have a better chance with a small sohal make sure he is 1/2 the size of the other tangs so he cant dominate them from day 1

I have had a sft, pbt and a small sihal in my 300 but you may be pushing it with that many tangs in any tank under 1,000gal after a while.
