Mine gets along just fine with his tank mates actually protects them from the big bad wrasse!

Definitely have to get them eating right away! I had to baby mine for 6 months he was a ridiculously picky eater only eating small amounts at a time! Now I can't feed him fast enough!

I had two die on me before the third one lived. If you can get one from a hobbyist rather than lfs its way better. They are very prone to ich. QT is not optional IMO. My favorite fish for sure. Mine has lots of personality and is very docile.

I agree however I didn't QT mine and it did just fine.

Also if you do end up getting one make sure that it's the last addition to your tank otherwise you will have all hell brake loose!
 
I've had mine a few years Even though I think it looks a stunning fish, it's also horrible in character continuously looking for a fight with my other fish but has not caused any damage as yet only my powder blue puts him in this place, also is the only fish that tries to attack my hand.
