Had my female clown since February and noticed black spots only on one side in the orange. She host a BTA not sure if that could have anything to do with it. Other fish look ok as of now.

Looks like hypermelonization, basically she rubbed up against a coral that she hasn't built up an immunity to yet. Itll go away on it's own:)

That is great news. My BTA’s split and she is brutal on them. I hoped that would be the case. Thank you Mayor Crabs you made my day!

My clowns used to host a duncan colony that gave them bad coral burns. Cleared up after a while after removing the coral but one clown still has a couple black spots years later.

You may have solved it. Female joined the male that host the Duncan’s. She won’t share the BTA’s

Lol yea they LOVED my duncan colony since I didnt have a Nem at the time for them. Now I'm worried theyre going to start hosting my dragon soul and aussie gold torches to death!

That would be horrible. Good luck keeping the clowns away and thanks

Yes I agree with this diagnosis.
