Clown wont eat and is red

Like i said above my clown hasnt been eating for the last couple of days and is clear/ red like shes stressed. her gills are flared and her mouth is always open. when i try to feed her she sometimes goes up to it like she wants to eat but wont.
I did two 15-20%ish water changes over the last couple of days because ammonia was higher then I wanted it to be. Was it just a ammonia burn and she'll heal or is it a sickness...

What were the ammonia levels prior to the water changes and what test kit were you using for the results? What are the current parameters of the tank? Possible to post a clear photo of the clown for us to take a look at?

Are you cycling with a fish? Ammonia is very toxic to fish. Do water-changes to keep it as close to 0 as possible and dose prime. You could certainly kill this fish with ammonia.
