Clownfish acting weird.

Hey all i have a chocolate snowflake that lays on the sand on back corner of aquarium and just kinda sits there any thoughts.

I'm afraid we're going to need a little more information. Is this a new addition to your tank? If not, is this a new behavior? Did it have another location it used to reside? Is it eating normally? Is it showing any other signs/activities that are of concern?

It could simply be it has elected to have that corner of the tank serve as its host. Mine used to use a return jet! Clowns are weird.

Been in for about a month maybe a lil more. Added with anothwr clown from my qt( 4 weeks observe only). Never had a real spot persay the clowns stayed close for a couple of weeks and then orange guy decided he liked my long tenticle anemone. [emoji2] anyway this guy has kinda just chilled and layed around a couple different holes then settled here a week ago. He eats well, and parameters on good. Maybe just likes that corner...

dbl is most likely right-clownfish can act really strange sometimes, and he probably just decided to host the back corner of your tank. If he is eating fine and your parameters are ok, I don't see a problem.

+1 to the liking the corner. Mine was obsessed with the front left corner of my tank until I added a toadstool leather near that area. Now my clown is obsessed with the toadstool instead, but will occasionally still hang in that corner for a bit.

I'll try to give update when i get home. Seems to be very lazy i guess just kinda chills on the sand bed most of the time, flicking his fins ever so slightly to stay in place.

He looks good, getting in on the feeding frenzy. He is hanging by my LTA. Im so happy that the orange clown has gotten into the LTA.

Snowy the chocolate snowflake has passed on.

Idk what happened he ate well yesterday and today the flow was in complete control of him. I put him into my qt, and within an hr he was gone. [emoji24] [emoji22] [emoji226]
