Hey yall, still a noob in this but im getting there, got most of it down! but still learning everyday

my clownfish been in my tank for a little over a week now probably, and ive noticed at night when i shut the lights off, they sometimes act almost dead? float then swim float then swim and one will swim more and the other will float weird lol and the bigger one will push the little one and then he'll swim again, i saw some posts about clownfish being funny at night and sleeping, mine will lurk at the very top of the tank, then in the morning be out swimming everywhere and waiting for breakfast..

is this normal? theyre fine though no abnormal signs other than night time, i do know fish take longer to adjust to the darkness than we humans do.. right now theyre playing with the chromish and swimming around..

Names: Fry and Leela lol

before deciding to be hosted by the trim in the corner of my tank mine slept on the sand in back of tank on more then one occasion... i wouldn't worry yet

lol yeah theyre funny little fish, is there anything i could do or try to make them feel more safe maybe? or perhaps comfy

They're just getting used to the tank. They should be fine. Mine also slept near the top for a week or so. Now they sleep in the bottom right corner over a chalice.

No worries. Mine sleeps upside down under the hang on back filter. He just hangs there. I've upset him by turning on the light in fear that he was dead. He's weird but I love him.
