Hey everyone! I have a question regarding clownfish aggression. So I have a 29 gal. Bio cube that I have stocked with 2 Ocellaris clowns and 2 Firefish gobies. Last night i picked up 2 snowflake clowns and added them to the tank. I've been observing them and have noticed the larger Ocellaris is becoming aggressive with the presence of the snowflakes. He will occasionally chase them around the tank. How concerned should I be after one day? Should I give them a couple days and see how things progress or should I instantly separate them? Thanks in advance!

You have 4 clowns in a 29G?? Do you have a couple good sized nems to host them? This sounds like a fairly terrible idea so far.clowns are basically damsels; territorial, aggressive angry damselfish.

Get rid of 2 if you get a good pair don't get any more clowns cause they will fight I've had 2 clowns for years and never have a problem

I never planned on keeping them together I just couldn't catch my Ocellaris clowns to move them to my twenty gal. quarantine tank. I thought I would just see if the aggression would work itselft out. This morning however I outsmarted the little buggers and removed them. Just the two snowflakes in my biocube now.

I have a similar problem with and onyx clown and a snowflake and I just got a new blue hep tang and the onyx clown is being a dick to the tang and has left the other clown alone what should I do?

A posible thing is that the pair was laying eggs.A friend of mine who breed a pair composed of one black clownfish and a tomato for fun(the pair was bought from the local fish store near me);the pair beggin to kill every fish. But i read that you have 2 pairs!
