Clownfish and breeder box

Got my clownfish and his rbta two days ago. He's been in a breeder box the whole time in my 100 gallon. My question is what's the longest he can stay in there? He is really small compared to my others and I would like him and his anemone to grow more before being with the others. In the store he was in there with his anemone for around a week. My breeder box is a little bigger though I must say. He seems happy though.

Why don't you just release him in the tank? I wouldnt know why that should be a problem? Regarding growth I think it will take at least a couple of months before it gets somewhat bigger. Fish in my opinion dont grow that fast especially nemo's. I would be worried that the fish will get weaker over time because of the lack of flow and stress that is gets from not be able to swim outside that little container. But again.. im no expert, just sharing my thoughts

Yes thank you, point of putting him in that breeder box is because I have 2 of my 5 damsels constantly after him and his anemone is a little to small to fully cover him/let him hide. I'm gonna try putting him in the main tank tommarow and see how that goes.

Maybe you can put the damselfish in the breeder box, then let the clown get comfortable and establish territory and then release the damsels after a couple of days to see how that works?
