2 questions. What are some things yall have noticed clownfish enjoy playing with? Something I can get for the litte buddies.

And another question. What is this little shroom on my live rock? There's one growing in the filter it looks like.. which I don't know how so quickly lol

Make sure to add some images of the mushroom so people can take a look and ID it. Turn your lights to white so the camera picks it up.

Clowns don’t really like to go out of their territory much, they like their anemone( don’t add one right now), but even then it’s not a guarantee that the anemone will host the clown. They pretty much stay at the same spot, this is why they’re good for small tanks.

that’s a feather duster completely harmless good for filtration.

As far as something for your clowns, need to ask a few questions first. How old is the tank? What type of lighting? Good at keeping parameters in check and test regularly?

Brand new tank. Going on a week I've had them. So they're still new. Just asking for future reference since I don't want to get right into anemones quite yet. And just a while light. Nothing special. Been testing the water since I'm new to this. Everything spot on.

Any type of coral will require a better light. I'd start researching if that's the route you're going. Coral best to wait at least a month, 3 is better. Anemone as you must have heard should wait the better part of a year.

Yeahh, I just added a picture instead. Figured I'd try it since it gave me the option.

Any better lights maybe with some different functions and shades of light out there? Really not sure. I do love the look of the blue light.. but is that mainly for coral and things? Or do clownfish have a preference at all?

So it's a father duster? An they open an close up? And quite a few on the live rock. Pretty neat watching it open and close.

The clownfish really don't have specific light requirements but if you do want an anemone or coral down the road, you will need a special light. I suggest an AI prime 16 hd for a small tank.
