Hi everyone I’m new to this whole reef aquarium thing so any help I can get would be great. I have had a pair of ocellaris clownfish I’ve had a little over two months now a male and female the female swims all around the tank while the male hangs outs in the corner of my tank swimming vertically up + down (only comes out of the corner when getting fed). I’m not sure if this is normal or not? Figured I’d ask.
Also I have just purchased an anemone offline from Vivid Aquariums and it’s beautiful! Definitely a mover considering I went to go check on it the night I got it and found it in a near death attempt tentacles going into the back area of the tank. we got him out as gently as possible (washed hands before handling) and he’s finally found himself a place on our rock work. But he’s just been looking strange but maybe because he’s big? Idk I’ll attach some photos and see what you all think. I also just fed my fish so don’t mind all the things floating around in photos.

Welcome! Perfectly normal for the anemones to move, the picture looks fine. Clowns will host something in the tank, it’s normal for them to host a corner or wall and look like they are swimming up and down.

The clownfish may or may not host the anemone, it’s really just luck. Ours ignored the anemone and hosted some soft coral trees instead. There are ways to try to make it happen.
