Hi All, I have 2 occ clownfish in my tank for about 3 months now. They were small Juveniles when I picked them up. I have one bigger one who I assume is transitioning to female. The slightly smaller one has been doing the submission vibration thing. The last few days they have been zooming around the tank the larger chasing the smaller, its not constant and they will stick together for times. Is this new behavior part of the maturing/transitioning/pairing process.

Sounds like clown puberty and pairing up

Normal clown behavior :)

In these kinds of situations the larger female will chase the smaller male away from food. Just make sure he gets some too!

All good news! They’re doing what clownfish are supposed to do!
