Clownfish breeding setup design.

Hi, I’m looking for some help with plumbing my breeding system. Looking for simple and reliable. I have 2 33 longs divided in 3 compartments and 3 10 gallon tanks all going to one sump. I have seen some systems where a pump returns water to the top tanks and drains into the middle, then to the bottom, then to sump. Or do I just get I big pump and return water to each individual tank?

I would go top down.

If you do returns to all tanks that's way more plumbing and you'll probably need a good sized pump.

Is this a fun project or breeding to sell?

Thanks for the input. I love clowns so it more of a challenge and a project to see if I have success. If I do have success there won’t be a need for hundreds of clowns so I would look to sell/trade.

Agreed on going top down. Just remember that youmll need to maintain flow throughout each of the tanks, and it’s best if it goes light to heavy from top down (ie 10 gallons on top, 33’s in the middle, then the sump) to reduce chances of Horrible Tank Crashes
