Have two clownfish ocelaris since they were 1/2”.

one is now just over 2” and other about 1.5”

i see what looks like a dance; they hide, run in and out, of the pvc pipe and I see them cleaning it constantly.

they have been doing this for more than a year;

Water chemistry stable and fine; temp at 76F.

any idea if there is anything more special to do for them besides get them a room at the motel down the road for a few hours?

Quality food… live worms and clam did it for mine. Maybe it was a clam since that’s an aphrodisiac ;)

Ty
Live worms like freshwater tubifex black worms ?
Clam - you bought at the grocery store and chopped up or was there a commercial product

LRS Fertility Frenzy works wonders. IME 2” is probably the minimum size for breeding. My larger females are far more successful—in terms of laying larger clutches—than the smaller ones. I’d roughly estimate that it takes females 2 years before they’re ready to start laying.
