I had 2 snowflake clownfish and one jumped out this morning. I didn't want to spend too much money on another snowflake, so I wanted to add onyx clownfish. Are they compatible?? I had some compatibility issues with snowflakes and picassos in the past, and didn't want to make the same mistake. Thanks

I'd make sure there is a size difference if you do. If you lost your dominant fish then add a larger onyx if you lost your submissive fish then add a smaller onyx. It's still not a guarantee. My buddy has an onyx and a picasso that live happy as can be together in an elegance coral. Good luck!

My rule with clowns is usually to attempt not to mix and match...but with some of these clowns that are just variant misbars you obviously dont have this problem.

I believe snowflakes are ocellaris clowns whereas onyx are perculas. So trying to mix them may be a risk.
