So my two percula clowns love to sleep in the top left corner of the tank right at the surface and they both like to cram right against each other every night. However every morning I wake up and the Male is more bit up on the same side (because he sleeps on his other side) my tank is full of rock and places to hide but they choose out in the open and fight as a result. Is there any way I can prevent this? The fighting is only a night time thing no other time is it a problem

How long have the clowns been together? Have they shown any spawning behavior (shimmying, shaking, laying eggs, etc.)? This is a tough one because you have provided hiding places. The next steps that I would take would be to consider rearranging the aquascape and maybe even putting something in that corner to make them change up their routine. Additionally, keep an eye on the male and move him into a QT/hospital tank if necessary based on serious damage or infection. Typically, I am slow to move either clown out of the tank due to poor behavior unless I think that a life is in danger because that often restarts the dominance issues when the clowns are brought back together. Good luck!

His damages are all on one fin, not flesh wounds just really bad fraying of the fins, and yes they have shown spawning behavior, ie. Shimmy shaking, cleaning spots on rocks (no eggs) and they have been together 2 months (maybe 2.5)

It seems that right now that they are doing what clownfish do. I would continue to watch their behavior and maybe provide a flat spawning surface if you haven't already.

I shoved some lighting diffuser in the corner to make them go elsewhere. And also I have a very flat live rock that they can spawn on! I'm pretty sure they will spawn I bought them as a mated pair from my lfs

Ok - it sounds like you are taking the appropriate steps. Let us know how it goes and good luck with this pair. The aggression of clowns is part of their mystery!
