Well, I'm trying to decide which clownfish species is optimal for my 55g. My planned stocking is melanarous wrasse, mimic filefish, fu manchu lionfish, Atlantic longnose butterfly, flame back anglefish, sleeper banded goby and a golden dwarf eel in additon to a clownfish. I know this may be over stocked, but the sump and refugium add 25 gallons, I will be stocking it slowly and monitoring the fish carefully.

I'm trying to decide between a cinnamon clown, a clarkii clown and a maroon clown for this aquarium. To do this, I would like as many people as possible to post which they would put in this tank. I will then take a tally of the answers and stock whichever species is most accepted.

Thanks in advance

Those clowns are evil. I wouldnt put any of them despite how beautiful they are. They will even kick your lionfishes butt lol

I have a Picasso and a lightning maroon in my 20. The Picasso is actually the boss because he was there first. As long as you add them in the correct order by agression, the most aggressive last, IMO it should be fine. That's my experience with my tanks

Just commenting to follow along. I am wanting clowns as well, and am curious of the answer.
