Hello Guys..!
I received this beautiful clownfish as a gift for my first FO S/W tank. It was quite stressed sue to being in transit for 12 hours. It didn’t eat for a couple of days even after trying multiple dry food products (I also tried garlic juice). But today morning it started eating pellets (Hikari Marine S and Seaweed Extreme). It was at this time that I noticed a small acne like bump on his/her body can you please help me with it. He/She is quite active and eating well. The only tank mate he/she has is a Hermit Crab. Also, would adding a Cleaner Wrasse
(Dr. Wrasse) be beneficial?

The only other thing I can think of would be a bacterial infection. Has it gotten bigger? Turned more pale white in color or appear to come off at the edges?

Sorry, I cannot tell exactly. It’s almost looks the same like it was 3-4 hours ago. I’ll monitor it overnight.

If the fish is in a community tank, I would try to isolated it into a quarantine tank if possible. If it is a bacterial infection, I would personally recommend starting treatment sooner rather than later. Melafix is what I've used with good results in the past.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Well, the bump is the same size as yesterday, so it has not grown. Can anyone please help me with the Disease ID so that I can decide the treatment course.

Is the fish eating, swimming normally, no rapid breathing???
In many cases medications of any kind can be as bad or worse than the disease. You could be dealing with a bruise or burn and not a "disease".
I would isolate the fish first, then at the most treat with Melafix. But mostly isolate, observe, feed well.

The fish is eating well and is quite active, the only thing is it’s hanging out in one corner of the tank. But it can be because it is new to the tank.
