My tank finished cycling Tuesday so I got 2 long fin clown fish yesterday, LFS said they only had them for about a month or so still juvenile, they gave me PE PELLETS 1 mm and some rods food tentacle teaser, I already had brine shrimp from cycling my tank, they love the pellets and the rods food. But won’t touch brine shrimp, anything I should try and feed them. I don’t want the same food every day I’d like to mix it up. Thanks I’m advance!

There should be a lot of choices at your LFS: Mysis shrimp, worms, Reef Frenzy, cyclops, ROE...

You can also get some baby brine shrimp eggs and hatch your own live food for your fish, they will love that. It's super easy, basically just a bowl of water and an airline, there are many videos on youtube.

I asked them about the mysis shrimp and they said I don’t need it, I did read some articles about feeding them a variety. Is that ok?

And I know it’s a little off topic but I also got a nassarius snail and a red leg hermit and a trochus 1 of each, do I need more to help keep the tank clean I saw where the fish slept last night there is poop. I didn’t know if it be cleaned up before tonight for them?

Clown fish do best with a good dry food as main food source. Supplement with frozen foods are fine but main food should be good dry food.
