So I have 2 onyx percula in my 20g reef tank one Male and one female. I had a big issue with the female ripping the Male appart for a while. After about a week the issue stopped and the Male healed and they no longer fought.
Now it is 2 months in and just today she started harrassing again, he has frayed fins again and she hunts him down. The only new thing that has started is that they both do that "shakey seizure" dance at each other. And this dance is constant today.
Should I let this play out or should I put a quarentine net in the tank and quarentine one.
Also i forgot to add that there are plenty of rock structures for them to hide in so i dont think territory is a huge issue

Doubt court ordered mediation will work in this case..... I would physically separate them. Even if you don't think it's territorial, it may very well be..... I would remove both is possible, change scape if that's an option, and reintroduce them after weeks.

It depends on what your goals are. It sounds like they are doing what clowns do - she is exercising her dominance and their recent dance is usually a precursor to spawning. If the clowns are spawning in your tank then that implies you have done some things right to create the space for them to breed!
