Most likely establishing dominance. They communicate via shaking sometimes showing submission. Find out what the vendor was feeding and offer that if they continue not eat but it's pretty common for new clowns to refuse food. Unless you see physical injury such as frayed fins or one clown hiding or resting at the surface then let them be.

I got them from sustainable aquatics I just bought some sustainable aquatics hatchery diet, I hope they eat that

Most likely male doing submissive behavior which is fine. I don't see any torn fins or injuries so I guess it's all fine. maybe a video to see how the agression is going. most likely as said this is the typical dominance being established in clown where the female will constantly attack the male who will do a submissive shake... this will lead to him staying male and a bit smaller than the female and soon hopefully they'll start cleaning a nest area and spawn there.

I experienced same thing a while back; female was happy once she bit off a large part of male's tail (grew back over next few weeks) and now, of course, they are inseparable.

I've noticed my Ammonia spiked to 0.25 My clowns are still active and eating swimming around,
