Hi guys,

Hope you are all well. My clownfish has some fin damage. It’s the female in a 15G tank, and it’s the dominant fish.

I’m stumped what happened. The tanks been running almost 4 months. I do 15% water change every week.

I don’t really have test kits aside from the basic API ones but the other fishes in my tank seem ok. Thanks

Clearly bites marks/aggression and my suspect is another clown. Will heal on its own as long as aggression ceases. You may have to isolate aggressor if it continues

Thanks my friend, you always help me in my posts. My only question is, all the other tank mates are peaceful. The male clown is good, yellow clown goby stays to itself and my scooter blenny is always doing its own thing. This also came out of the blue, I haven’t added anything in the past 3 weeks

One possible way to find out as fish are always on their best behavior when you are not around-
set your cell phone on video mode for about 30 mins and drop a little food and walk away - YOU MUST walk away as they know youre there. Often the aggressor is a bully at feeding time.
Review the video and see who it may be

Thanks, brilliant idea. I’ll give it a shot, I’ll try to keep you updated here once I find out. Really appreciate all your help, you’re a great person!
