clownfish fish jumping

I bought a pair of baby ocellaris clowns about 7 months ago and in the last eight weeks one during the night kept jumping in the overflow and always ended up in the refug but today I went to look for him and couldn't find him. Instead of jumping in the overflow he tried to jump out back of the tank and got hung in a spot on the netting that I have to prevent jumpers mainly my wrasse but don't understand y. I have had my black ocellaris for almost three years in the 120 with no problem ever. Does anyone ever see this type of behavior and when is it too early to add another clown back in as I'm thinking designer clown this time. These two were not mated at all either.

Clowns can (and sometimes do) jump. Any fish can really. The best you can do is to have a secure top to prevent them from getting out.

You'll want a clown which is smaller than the one you still have, and certainly a male.

Sorry... Hit send early... Was saying I lost one a few weeks ago. Left my hood open for a 1/2 hour after feeding and my female jump while we're 2 feet away on the couch. Was too late when I found her

question?? stick you finger in the water and and see if you feel a tingle?? if you have a heater in the tank it could possibly be shorted out and putting current in the tank.
