Hi to my fellow hobbyist,

Question regarding baby clownfish. First batch ever. They hatched 9 days ago and so far so good! Been feeding them rotifers, keeping the water clean and green.
I've read that from Day 10 onwards, especially after they become juveniles, I should discontinue rotifers and start adding TDO B1/B2. I only have TDO C1 (Xsmall). Can I crush it, make it the size of B1 or B2 and give them that?
I'm wondering, since it seems like they're the same recipe, if crushing it would be fine.

Thank you!

@F i s h y he knows what to do!!

You can definitely try this. For about 4 days I feed rotifers and tdo. Slowly lowering the rotifers and increasing the tdo. Just keep an eye on your fry. The 10 to 20 day period is the hardest. Meta is tough on them. They should always have full round bellies. Sometimes this means over feeding and increased water changes. Up to day 65 you will want to overfeed. Water changes should be happening every 2 to 4 days. Just enough to get the leftover food off the bottom of the broodstock tank.

Thank you so much! I started adding TDO Day 10 so a bit late but so far so good. They're looking strong , loving the rotifers and eating some of the tdo. Hopefully going through meta very soon, their bellies are round and happy and doing water changes every 2 days or so.

Some pics would be cool
