hello

This pm with my daughter we were looking at my nano tank and I noticed my clown has one largeish bump under her chin. I am not sure if it is ich or some sort of fungus. She isn’t scratching or breathing heavy and she is eating like a pig per usual. I have been getting confused her garlic enriched food. The tank is two years old and I have had my clown for about 3 years. I got her from divers den and had no history of ich in this tank. I have not added any fish or inverts in at least 8 months and that was a emerald crab. I did add some Zoas from the reeferdirect live sale a week or so ago. Any ideas what this bump is and what should I do would be greatly appreciated. I don’t have a qt or meds.

Kanaplex + Metroplex has been used to successfully treat this in the past, but that would need to be done in a QT environment.

I have the exact same issue on my clown. Did this fix your issue?

If you want to, please post a picture of your clown with a description of the issue, and your water quality data as a new thread and we’ll work on it for you.
Thanks,
Jay
