Dont know why it could have gotten it though i always keep an eye on this guys

My fish are QT’d at my lfs
The only way to be certain of proper QT is to do it yourself. Ich is so easy to spread it just takes a drop of water. With LFS employees in and out of different tanks constantly it's likely you got a fish or coral with ich.

Would polyplab medic help?

When i firts got em i asked are this fish QT’d or should i do it my self and they told me Yes we QT’d all our fish using copper. Is there anyway i can get rid of it would Polyplab Medic work?

If it is in fact ich, the only way to completely eradicate it is to quarantine and treat with therapeutic copper for 30 days and let the display tank sit fallow for 76. Is it possible that they're grains of sand from your sandbed? And never trust that your local fish store quarantines or treats anything. They'll tell you exactly what you want to hear to make a sale. Only way to know for 100% certainty that they were quarantined is to do it yourself :)

No grains of sand here but have had a few losses lost 2 cleaner shrimp and a green/blue chromis but definitely will take this guy out and quarantine it

It’s not easy to diagnose ich on a clown unless it’s a more serious case. That spot on the tail could easily be Lympho. Was the clown recently in copper or in any meds?

Gotta take them out and let tank fallow for 76 days. Ich is an ugly mess. Finally getting over it killed a blue tang of mine.

Also if it is ich, you cannot treat just the one fish, you must treat all fish in the tank. If any fish are left the parasite does not die out in the display tank as it still has a food source, even if your fish are not showing symptoms o_O

Not saying your wrong but a lot of times the lfs will use a giant sump for most of most if not all their tanks. So if one fish gets it all the fish are infected. It could be QT there but I would QT at your house so you can watch it and take care Incase the fish do have ich or anything else.

How long ago did you add your most recent fish?

First fish added was about 3 weeks ago and they were fine no problems with them they were eating and everything than the clownfish i got em like a week later and same thing it was fine and eating until i noticed the spots like 2 days ago and couldn’t tell if it was normal or not
