On and off my clown swims wierd. Have had him for a few weeks and once he got comfortable in my tank he never left the top corner except to sleep. I have lots of nice corals and rocks and he does not interact with any of it. I'll attach a picture of a time he is swimming still on his side. Hes the only fish in the tank and almost always has been. Thanks.

Ok thanks. All morning he's been on his side and I've never seen him on his side even while sleeping. And my lights are on a timer with sunrise and sunset so he knows it's daytime.

As long as it's eating I wouldn't worry. Mine spend most of their time avoiding my anemone and hiding at the surface behind a HoB filter. They're over 2 years old now.

Yeah probably worried to much he at a bit he still refuses to eat anything but flakes. I guess it's true they are weird fish.

Throw the flakes away and get some frozen variety. Spirulina, mysis, LRS or Rods

I have all that stuff and he just let's it float by I've even tryd using garlic guard.

Rapid breathing is a symptom of velvet

Some signs.
Change is respiration rate.
Glassy eyes.
Lathargic.
No eating, or change in eating.
White dots
Swimming directly into water flow
Gasping at the surface.
Head standing
Loss of colour.
