Clownfish Help

If your tank is pitch black and you turn on a room light to evaluate your fish's color their always going to look different then when your display light is on, most commonly pale...there's nothing wrong with that.

I actually haven't turned on my room light after the tank goes off because I have been really worried that when the other clowns got sick at night the sudden lights stressed them to death. Now when I need to look I use a really dim flashlight and slowly bring it up to tank level but bever shine it near a fish

The light is a non issue, I'd stop worrying so much about it.
