Hey everyone I bought a pair of cheek-spot Picasso last Friday from my local fish store. (WWC). I just noticed this on one of them. these are the only fish in the tank, I just finished cycling a few weeks ago. All water parameters are good. Appetite has not diminished, No labored breathing, etc. my apologies about the blue lighting. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks you!

I can’t make out much, is it the spot behind the gill cover? Does it look like “cauliflower”?

Hey 4ford, it’s a little further back and higher near the dorsal it more opaque. I’ll see if I can get a better photo

hope this helps! It’s a more opaque/gel/stringy? Lol

“Dusting” and “flaky, pealing skin” especially starting around the dorsal fin on clownfish if almost always Brooklynella.

Treating all fish in QT with metroplex for 14 days will do it!

To be honest it does t really look the photos except for the sloughing but it is only in one tiny spot the rest of the body doesn’t have any other issues

Very hard to see on the white areas of the fish. Here's some pics of bacterial infections for you to compare.

Thank you for sharing the article! Greatly appreciated! I was comparing pictures after reading that great article and nothing really looks what my little clown has. Thank you for your help @Big G

You are welcome. You wrote it looked "stringy". Sometimes Lymphocystis can be stringy looking. Usually cauliflower or cottony/fibrous texture to most people looking at it on their fish.

Check out the variety of lympho on the clown in this article:

I’m pretty confident at this point that it’s lymphocytes. I appreciate all of your help, and thank you again for the articles
