Hi! I have a issue today. I noticed one of my clowns was acting stange last night, it wouldnt eat and was hanging under my duncan coral. Thought I would give it through the night to see how it developed. Well, today when I got home from work the clown is nowhere to be found. I have looked everywhere but it has clearly hid in the rockwork, possibly to pass on.
The problem is that all my rocks are connected and there are corals glued down also so removing the rocks to look for him will be hard and timeconsuming even though I just have a 35g display.
Should I try to find and remove the clown or should I let the cuc do their thing and expect a spike in nutrients the coming days?
What would you do in this senario?
Thanks!

If I can - I pick up my dead fish - if they just disappear I just do nothing if it stop with one fish and the others do not show any sympthoms.

Sincerely Lasse

Let nature take the next step. Had an old Wrasse die a year back and found nothing but bones after a few days.

Thank you for the reply! I will keep an eye to see if something turns up to remove otherwise I will count it as food for the critters.
Also I will observe the other fishes and hope that it wasnt something that will spread!

Thanks! Yes I guess this will end the same for me, still not a trace after several hours so nature is probobly running its course right now.

If you can easily get to the carcass pull it out. No major issue to let the CUC reduce it though.
