Many of you guys, like me, do not want to keep an anemone in your tank because it can move around and be a hassle. It can kill your other corals as well or destroy the whole tank if it gets sucked into one of the wavemakers. I will set up a 120-gallon mixed reef tank and so I was wondering, would be the best alternative coral for the clownfish to host. Please let me know and why.

I’m not sure a clownfish could host any coral unless you glued the coral to the fish.

On the other hand, any meaty lps could potentially host the clownfish, although I remember seeing that it usually damages the coral.

Mine have taken to my rather large elegance. Looks very similar to an anemone. Previously they hosted in the corner of my PH.

Clownfish are weird little creatures. What you think they will host in, they will do the exact opposite.
