after the night time lights came on i noticed my clownfish wasn't in her usual resting place, after a little searching I found her nuzzling into my dendrophyllia. should i be worried? i cant find anything online except a story of a dendro eating a clownfish, has this happened to anyone else?

nah it happens. Clownfish sometimes host other corals besides nems. As long as they aren't too rough and affecting the dendro's health your good.
