I have a small tank full of lps coral and a Kenya tree, I really want a single ocelaris clownfish but dont want an anenome cause they are difficult, move around and sting corals, and get caught in overflows. The problem is I am worried that if I get a clownfish it will host and bother or kill my coral. I have herd that xenia host clown well and aren't bothered.
If I get some pulsing xenia will the clownfish host it over my other coral? Should I even be concered about clownfish hosting coral? What are the odds that I even get a clownfish that hosts? Is there a way to get a occelaris clownfish that will not host?(like wild caught or captive bred?)

Thankyou all help is appreciated.

Either it won’t host or it will. Impossible to tell what it’s going to do

They will pretty much do whatever they want..... I have a bubble tip and pair of clowns and over a month or so the only thing they showed interest in was an urchin.....
