so this morning I noticed my small clownfish had disappeared. Got home from work and I’ve just found him at the bottom of my overflow! As it’s a deep tank right up against a wall I can’t get all the down to scoop him out with a net

One of my clowns did the same thing over the weekend, I just pulled my standpipe and flushed him into the sump and scooped him out with my hand.

I JUST lost my Carmel Oscellaris. I had put him I my refugium while cleaning tank. He jumped the baffle and was sucked into my stupid new return pump. DONT BUY A ECOTECH VECTRA! It’s the worst designed pump. There’s no screen to prevent things like this. I had a Frostbite clown meet his demise the same way day before yesturday. I know! I should have known! But I thought it would be ok for a couple minute. [emoji25]

Clowns seem to be sneaky like that. I have several pairs (I breed) and stuff like this happens all the time. I rescued my big saddleback clown after he jumped over the side onto the floor. Lucky I was right there.
