Hi all,

I know that this title is nothing new and I hope that once more answers will be "just clowns being clowns" but I noticed my bigger (I assume female) clown laying on artificial rock, not moving at all. When I come closer she starts swimming normally. It's always the same spot but sometimes male does it too. I thought it has to do something with spawning but they look disturbingly still. Otherwise they look healthy, they eat like crazy, no white spots or anything like that.
I managed to make a video. I'm really curious what you guys think of this. Thanks!

I'm suspecting (from the behavior of my clowns) that she's about ready to lay eggs. The male usually marks a spot and cleans it, then the female paints the eggs on the spot. It'll look like bright orange paint and/or beads.

I assumed it's something like that. It's just that this is my first tank and I never saw them doing this before so I thought I better ask.
