I was checking out my fish today, i noticed something on the underbelly of one of my clownfish, it was not there as of a couple days ago, he has no other symptoms of illness, swimming, eating, and interacting like nothing is going on. I cant seem to find any images online that match what this looks like, the rest of his body looks normal, i was thinking flukes immediately but ive never heared of them being in that location and no where else. Wondering if anyone has a lead or suggestion?

I can't see anything in the photo.

Check this out and see if anything matches what you are seeing.

You can also do a 5min FW dip if you suspect flukes to verify.

Sorry hes not very photogenic, right at the bottom of the middle white strip is a white "chunk" (sorry dont know what to call it) i am going to check that link out right now, thank you

On the underbelly

I see it now when zooming in. It blends in with the stripe. I'm On my phone.

May very well be anal prolapse.

Do you add vitamin supplements to food?

I don't, i just feed a mix of mysis and brine shrimp once daily

What would you recommend? Should i treat with prazipro and focus in case it's caused by parasites?

You could add metro/focus to food. Typically you would see white stringy poop if this was the case as well.

I would add vitachem or selcon to your food and it may fix itself.

Im concerned about parasites because my flame angel had stringy poop a couple weeks ago and i treated him and the 2 clownfish but i'm concerned i didn't eradicate it since i read that could be a cause of prolapse, he hadnt shown any prior symptoms but all know that doesnt mean much... thank you for your help everyone i will update as soon as there is a change, i'm going to treat for parasites again and start vitamin dosing today
