In the middle of a waterchange and noticed one of my clowns were missing. I heard a splash earlier but thought nothing of it. Decided to investigate and found my clown in the overflow...

He is not cooperating and I don't have a net that fits down there. Quite the situation I'm in lol

You know he did it just to annoy you! :D

Do you have a trio? I had one that did it repeatedly until I relaized it was the dominate male chasing it. If it helps, if there's no risk of it getting stuck in plumbing it can stay there for quite awhile until you can get a net that will fit.

I believe it ;Hilarious. Its just a duo. They get along like 90 percent of the time but the bigger one likes to chase the little guy here and there. Maybe he will jump back into the DT lol

Could you use a long piece of flat plastic to block off his exit to the sides and push him up to the top? Something like a piece of plastic house siding material from home depot, or something more reef safe.

Had similar. I have a small 3" net and was able to scoop it up

Probably but im just going to run to my lps for now and just pick up a small net. The water is low in the overflow so ill keep it like that till I come back so I can scoop him up easily

Had similar as well, drained most of the water out of the overflow. Then he was very easy to net up. Then the next day he jumped back in, he's still in there

Oh no! Fortunately, I have a mesh cover but had to take it off for maintenance.
