A couple of months ago I did harvest the larvae and raised them. You have to maintain a rotifer culture, a brine shrimp hatchery and keep up on the maintenance of it all. Not very difficult tasks but time consuming, especially during the first few weeks. It is amazing to see changing from larvae to little clowns and slowly develop their colors and bands. I learned a lot and will definitely do it again. I used Joyce Wilkerson's book on clownfishes as a reference. Very nice read.
