So I’ve got a occ clown in my display that went through QT with prazi and all that and has been happy and healthy in my display for 6 months. Today I noticed she had long stringy poop but it’s brown and not white. I’ve read that brown can be indicative of intestinal irritation rather than parasites. I don’t see any other fish with long poop. If brown is irritation instead of parasites is there anything I should or need to do for her? She eats fine and acts fine. If she was one of my dogs she’d be getting rice and boiled chicken if she had stomach issues but not sure of fish need a diet change when this happens?
Any idea why something like that would happen to a fish or are they just prone to upset stomach like we get from time to time?
