Hey everyone, so this morning I woke up and was watching my clownfish swim about, but couldn't help but notice his face seems to have lost color.

He is swimming normally, eating fine, and seems his usual chipper self, but if this is a problem, I want to catch it quick. He is the fish I've had the longest and would be devastated if something happened to him.

Many fish lose color at night while sleeping or with lights off. Check him again this afternoon and he will most likely have full color back.

It's actually funny, because I just went to do my normal morning rituals, came back, and it looks like his face has colored back up. I don't know how I never noticed that before.

Well thank you for easing my mind. Was starting to panic.

The clownfish is prolly just cleaning some rock with his mouth
It's like a callus on your hands , eventually it will become thicker and tougher
